£20.00pp

Bring your worn out denim(or any other medium-heavy woven fabric) along to this workshop that explores the Japanese art of visible mending. In a world where new clothes are cheaper and more accessible than ever before, and many don’t have the skills necessary to repair damaged clothing, it has become more common to simply buy new clothes. The Japanese art of Boro not only mends, but also embraces imperfections and adds to the stories of our clothing, a heritage craft that ties in so well with todays conversations on slow fashion and sustainability!
