From carefully considered creative events to personalised commissions with unique attention to detail, everything at Slow Hand Creative Studio reflects over a decade of specialist practice, academic and industry understanding of sustainable and ethical practices in fashion and textiles, and a genuine desire to inspire joy, connection and a deeper appreciation for craftsmanship.

Sharing Joyful, tactile and genuinely inspiring creativity through material exploration and responsible practice. We use our specialist textiles knowledge to elevate material potential into reworked, original outcomes.
Our specialist creative studio with Orbis Community in the heart of Gateshead Town Centre. Here we have hosted clients including V&A Museum, North East Museums, Newcastle University and Newcastle College.
Lead and collaborate on creative, engaging educational programmes and social projects that address real world issues. These are always underpinned by responsible practice, and range from introducing young people to our local cultural heritage, using creativity to support communication of scientific breakthroughs, and supporting communities and wellbeing initiatives.
